Santa Fe's "The Message Company" continued to put other meeting organizers' feet to the fire with another consciousness meeting triumph. Determined to put on a different kind of meeting, determined to impressing participants with their thoughtfulness, insight, and foresight, determined to blast away any stereotype of boredom attached to business or scientific conferences, determined to make each meeting even more impressive than the last, the Messsage Company "has got the formula.".

And it seems as if they're just getting started. In 2001, they will offer three major consciousness conferences, adding a new conference forcused on altered states of consciousness in November.

What made the majority of presentations at this conference so outstanding?  Why were the presentations so compelling that few participants took off much time to enjoy the lush Acapulco surroundings?  We are including reviews of the ten or so presentations we liked best as examples of what made this conference so good.

John Hagelin, Ph.D. provides opening keynote address for the International Conference on Business and Consciousness.

hagelin_homephoto[1].gif (5449 bytes)Following a hopeful showing as 2000 Presidential candidate of the Natural Law Party, physicist John Hagelin "wowed" those in attendance at the "Business and Consciousness" Conference, with integrations of brain research, quantum theory, string theory, and Eastern concepts of unified consciousness. Hagelin was lead-off speaker during the first special day of the conference, "Executive Day". Hagelin's discussion of the relationship between quantum theory and consciousness made quantum models of consciousness much more understandable and accessible than any prior presentation these reviewers have attended or read.
